Book Review: The E-Myth Revisited

Here is a review of one of my favorite business related books: The E-Myth Revisited, by Michael E. Gerber. I highly recommend reading this book to any business owner, small or large.

What does “E-Myth” stand for? Before reading the book, I thought it stood for eCommerce or email or something like that. But, no, the full book title is “The Entrepreneurial Myth”.

Why do most small businesses fail? One big reason, is that the business owner is a really good technician, but maybe not the best at being a manager or entrepreneur.

There are three main roles for running a business: Entrepreneur, Manager, and Technician.
